What can I expect?

I have this pick up heading my way. What can I expect from it?

From the 11K spec I wouldn't expect it to sound like a vintage Hofner.

It might though, I've never heard one.

Hi.

If They're honest with the description, it'll fit and the tone may or may not be to Your liking.

If they're less than honest, the pickup won't fit physically, it'll be a single coil, You won't even try it, and you'll be pissed (GOTOH "staple" ).

In any case, AFAIK the mounting is incorrect, that one won't fit into 60's Höfners without cutting the tabs off. If it's a "ring" mounted pickup with set screws it may work, but otherwise it probably won't.

You can expect it to be capable of inducing an AC current when vibrating steel strings are within it's magnetic field. Probably.

truthfully fit is the least of my worriesI'm putting it in a bass I'll be building that's modeled after an old Hofner. Sound was mainly what I was asking about.
