What color is this?

Hey, I just posted this pic on another thread, but that was unrelated to the specific question i am asking here.

Anyway, this Fender Vintera is actually Seafoam Green. I really love this shade of blue that its photos turn it. Any idea what factory color this mostly resembles? It looks like the new Miami Blue on the Pro IIs might be a match. I'd definitely like to find a body that color with a standard 4 bolt neck mount.

2020 Fender USA Daphne Blue for comparison. No apologies for guitar content. Daphne and Sonic and Seafoam seem to vary year over year even from the same Fender factory. All great colors.

Much like the signature "celeste" colors that Bianchi bikes often come in... it has changed a bit over the years as well.

It's seafoam green. 90% of the time the color isn't any different, it's how it is imaged or perceived. Light conditions, etc. etc.

Did you pick celeste as an example because it's seafoam green? I used to work in a shop and would constantly call the green Bianchis seafoam green, the other mechanic kinda couldn't handle it.

I did. You are definitely correct...but I could see people who are big fans of Bianchi being DEEPLY offended by someone referring to celeste as anything other than celeste. At least you didn't just call it green or blue lol.

Oh yeah, it was the fanciest road bike shop in Boston. Calling it anything other than Celeste was heresy. I was the shop mountain bike hick.

As someone who still works in a bicycle shop, that's because it's Celeste. As the saying goes, "Bianchi is Celeste; Celeste is Bianchi." We have a nice one we're building with Campy Record EPS.

According to this Warmoth video, my photo in post #1 is Seafoam while in real life it's closer to Surf.

Double checked.... my photo is still more blue than the Seafoam in the video...... but real close.

For years I thought I wanted a Seafoam guitar…until I realized it was really Surf Green that I wanted.

Seafoam was a Buick color.

Surf Green was a Chevy color.

Its hilarious how many different shades will pop up....
