What color pickguard for jazz bass?

Red tortoise is cool, but black is always cooler. That's the great thing about pickguards---don't like it, you can change it cheap and easy.

Will you also add the chrome control plate? If not, I'd stick with clear. If so, I'd go with tort or parchment. A full guard with no chrome plate reminds me of a fake AC. JMHO.
