Interesting question. I’d also like to know where everyone’s roots are from (1 or 2 generations). My parents and grand parents are from northern Spain. I was born in Manhattan, NYC. Not that it means anything at all, but we’re all descendants of somewhere.

I was born here in Bellville, TX. I'm a forth generation Texan on my dad's side whose ancestors came from Rostock Germany. My mom's side is a bit more complicated. There's German, Irish, Native American (Cherokee and Comanche I believe), and British from that side. So being primarily German, Irish and Native American I can drink like a pro.

I'm guessing most Americans won't have to go too far back to find roots outside their country.
For myself, as far as we can tell, it's seven generations Irish, then some German and Basque! Beyond that it got too complicated...

I’m a quarter German, quarter Czech, and a quarter English... I don’t know who my Dad’s father was, but I can gather I’m also a quarter drunk.

My grandma is from Greece, but she move to Indonesia on 60's after marry my late grandpa. They met in Germany. The rest is Indonesian. Anyway, look into the map and just three Indonesian here?
