It's not as bad as it sounds...
I decided to learn the bass a couple months ago and a friend suggested that Ibanez made good, inexpensive entry level basses. I opted for an Ibanez GSR200 which only set me back $200.
About a month ago someone broke into my car and it was a shopper's paradise -- my bass, my iPhone, my brand new car stereo. Sad face
After borrowing a friend's G&L for a month I realized that I wanted something light, something with a thin neck and something still fairly inexpensive. Guitar Center is having an end of year clearance and I ended up buying an Ibanez SRX4EX1BKF, which felt really good. I didn't like the sound quite as much as the ATK bass, but the SRX weighed half as much and I'm a wuss.
So here's the thing. I can't find that model number anywhere. Not on the Ibanez site, not on the Guitar Center site. Heck, not even on Google. There isn't even an SRX400-level base listed anywhere. Any gearheads want to help a brotha out?
Thanks, and happy new year!
