I learned how wimpy our electrical grid is where I live in Missouri. We got five inches of wet, sticky snow overnight and it knocked out the power for nine hours. We had an ice storm last weekend and the power stayed on!? Whatever. I'm glad it wasn't very cold and that power has been restored...
