hello,
i have the oppertunity to purchase a Silenzia by Carlo Giordano for $1000 cdn, it is supposedly only a year old. i havent seen the bass yet but that doesnt really matter as i don't know much about basses. i am interested in learning rockabilly bass and i would just like to know if this is a good deal, and if this is a good bass for slap/rockabilly. thanks. Junior, a nice Italian name doesn't improve an inexpensive bass with a painted fingerboard.
Pass.
Read the newbie links and then look for a solid, Kay, Engelhardt, or other well made plywood bass. You should be able to find something for around $1000 usd.
