What Do You Practice When You’re Exhausted After Work?

Yep, but all I do is reach over in the dark and pull the bass over and lay back down flat. If there is ever a gig where you have to lay flat on the floor, I will kill it.

Except its dark and you cant see the cieling. Can hear just fine, esp if bass body touches the mattress.

PS. Practicing when you are tired is not effective. Practice after waking up or a nap/

I work at home most days so I sneak in my playing late mornings usually. I hate feeling like it’s a chore. If I do it and call it “lunch” it works for me.

I do alot of noodling maybe not the best practice but at least I have the bass in my hands

Nothing unless I'm behind schedule learning or refreshing a tune.

Honestly guitar is easier to get something out of when I'm exhausted. I can just pluck basic chords and hear the things I need to feel good about playing. Bass requires more focus. Groove is hard to feel when half asleep.
