No doubt, but one day i was watching a local TV program covering the rattlesnake rodeo in Opp AL. The host was interviewing people and caught a guy coming out of the tent where fried rattlesnake was free for the asking. He was asked if rattlesnake tasted like chicken. He replied "Yep it tasted like chicken, but it sure didn't swaller like chicken."
That was back in the old days before the event became a no kill thing. Now they just turn the snakes back out after it's over.
Who knows but you know it's going to taste a thousand times better in a tort glass.
They're in the Grandview area, just west of the Olentangy fwy., but you can get their beer almost anywhere locally. Check for the times when the tap room is open.
I'll be disappointed if it doesn't taste like carrots.
No, it doesn't taste like chicken. It tastes like frog. They taste the same, and frogs have been around a lot longer than chickens.

My guess is hops, it tastes like hops (which means it tastes like disinfectant to me bleuch!)
Tastes like an American Pale Ale brewed with the hop bill of an IPA. In other words, there's not enough malt to support the amount of hop flavor. This results in a thin-bodied, bitter brew that nonetheless has found inexplicable popularity with the nouveau craft beer drinker.
A well-made IPA has the malt to balance the hops, to give it a platform to build off of. "Session IPAs" are to an IPA drinker what IPAs are to non-IPA drinkers, if that makes sense.
It does. I'm more of a Belgian Ale guy... or Dopplebocks, depending on my mood. Usually the former.
I'll drink most anything except AALs, pilsners and their ilk. Even the well-made ones taste like crisp corn water to me.
Oh, and "session" anything. Blecch.
I'm on a Flanders red ale and lambic kick right now with side trips into barrel-aged stout.
I think it tastes like yet another frigging IPA. I went to a pretty big beer festival a couple of weeks ago and the pourers (most of whom had TWO TAPS) were serving an IPA and some other "pale" variant. One guy had an IPA and "XPA." I get it, the beer hipsters all want the hoppiest sourest beer they can get...but not everyone's into it! There wasn't a porter or stout for miles.
