What do you think of the Surf Green color?

I know it's not a bass but I've seen a used Stratocaster w/ Surf Green color that I might buy.

My collegues think it's ugly but I think it's really nice! But I'm colorblind, maybe that's why...

Go for it, my friend. There is nothing like the old school look of a surf green Strat (my friend is buidling himself one right now, looks killer with a maple neck -- looks good with rosewood too, though!)

I'm an old school burst and natural kind of guy so it wouldn't be my first choice, but that's just my personal preference.

However, that doesn't mean I hate it. If I were to get a colored finish I'd probably go for something like that since it's a little different from a basic black, white, red, etc. I'd also agree with MagicMan_841 that it's kind of an old school finish on a Strat like the bursts I tend to prefer, which could be why I like it.

Anyway, it's cool. Go for it if you like it!

Great pics! I love surf green. In general, I'm not too picky about colors...I like many more than I dislike. If a surf green bass sounds and plays right, I'd never kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

Personally I hate the color on basses and would never buy a bass that color for myself, but don't let that stop you!
If anything would be an exception to my hate of Seafoam/Surf green, it would be that strat.
