Would it be a wise to put a MM pickup in the bridge postion, and a Percussion pickup in the neck postion together? I dont see any basses like this and i was wondering if its a good idea.

Do more research. The Deluxe Precision* by Fender has this set up.

    Precision, Im guessing.

And yes, Fender Deluxe Ps have this, so there ya go. Go for it. I actually planned to, but funds are leading me in other directions.

Sandberg basses have been offering this pickup configuration for a while.

I did this on my first build. only i put the p pup coils backwards (the trebble string half is usually the one closer to the bridge, but i set it the opposite way). Unfortunately, I ussed a p and an mm that both carried a lot of punch, so i didn't get the variety i was looking for. I was unhappy with bass (bad finish, crappy neck, pups sound being too similar, body needed more carving). I am currently redoing the bass and will make a thread once it is done. I will snap a few pics of the body as it is for you.
