I wear a pair of dark red O'Neill board shorts that I've had (and slept in) since 1995. I was always a totally rubbish surfer and on both the occasions that I was convinced I was going to die I happened to be wearing these shorts and I was fine, so they became "lucky" shorts.
They're extra-lucky because they have a press-stud waist and a velcro fly. Uh huh.
