Church gigs, so we don't wear anything with logos or words on it (unless it's the church's logo). Then again, with the lighting, sometimes what you wear isn't all that noticeable:

Very few can pull this look off. Hard to keep it from falling off.I wear one strategically-placed sock. That is all.
I like loud and flashy for the alt rock originals band in which the drummer and guitarist/si get pretty much wear black jeans and t shirts. I tone it down for the American band.
It's just a thing I like to do. It's also a banter bait thing where the guys can razz me a bit.
one gig with the rabid pink jacket and matching g shirt the introduced me as "Ken. Just Ken." Audience loved it.
