If you have 5 suits in your closet then you can wear whichever one to whatever event is upcomming. Same goes for having 5 basses in your possession. Dont give yourself guilt over having too many, enjoy. Variety is good. Some good advice here by others however I have no problem owning several different makes of basses. So enjoy yourself and play them all where ever you see fit.

Although I agree that it`s the musician that makes the music, there`s also a very good reason why top pros don`t play cheap instruments =P
