What does your username mean?

A former boss of mine and one of our Corporate VPs (my main job is in media and publishing) gave me the nickname "Judge" or "The Judge". Once my former boss saw me dance -- the first time was in a club on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of "Nawlins" -- he started calling me "The Funky Judge" (or just "funkyjudge" for short).

This is my username for everything internet. A few years back I was joing Ultimate Guitar and noticed some boring names and some fairly unique ones. Loinmute popped into my head. I get asked quite often about the meaning and I really have no explanation other than, it';s just me.

Mine has two meanings:

I was reading some Icelandic Sagas (well, english translations) a couple of years ago and noticed that the really notorious guys always had nicknames like "Bloodaxe" and "Skullsplitter" and stuff like that, so I decided to "viking-ize" my name since my friends say I look like one.
Shawn Beckham became Shawn Bloodhammer Stephenson (Yes, my dad was Stephen)

The second meaning is dirty and inappropriate to explain here. Use your imagination......... or don't actually. :hiding:

One of these is true:

1. I play double bass, guitar, and banjo. A "double" player who can triple on gigs.
2. I play a 5 string bass with a 3+2 headstock
3. I'm an assassin on the basketball court.
4. I like having a screen name that's right next to Dan Lutz.
5. All of the above.

Drummer of 16 yrs. Had to stop due to an injury. Stopped playing any kind of music for what I thought was gonna be a couple months, turned out to be 5 years. I started to really miss it, and couldn't go back to the drums so I picked up the bass. I have to say I love it just as much as drumming! Drumming used to put me underneath the music, whereas the bass puts me in the center of it, which is a really cool and awesome responsibility.

Plus as a drummer, I know what it feels like when the bass player won't or can't lock in with you. So it's really cool to be on the other side of it and know I'm giving solid support to whatever feel the drummer's going for. I'm also learning what it feels like to be the connection between the guitar and drummer. I'm really diggin' it! Good times! :D Now just a few more years of building bass chops and I'm movin' on to the keys! :hyper:

This has been my moniker on the net since I first got on. I used to ride and race all GT bikes, and my first name is Tim. I did not have a GT for years, and started to get away from it, but on many blogs I am known for being an a$$hole, and hate to lose that image! I often get asked if I went to Georgia Tech, since I am in Atlanta, but I did not. And I do drive a Mustang, but not a GT.

While my main road bikes are not GTs, I did purchase a GT mountain bike in the last year.
