Button is one of the sweetest, smartest dogs I've owned. She also likes to dig.

That's a well trained dog, my gsd would have ate it before it even touched his pawSame here. Had GSDs since I was kid and will continue for as long as I can.

I typically favor larger dogs. I have a great fondness for Huskies.
I never thought I wanted to own a small dog ("purse dog" as my wife calls 'em) but when our last girl took ill suddenly and had to be put down (she was part Blue Heeler, part Whippet) we started searching shelters and found this little guy below.
He's not that tiny--about 12 pounds. He came to us already named "Harley" (not my favorite, but it's not the worst.) I believe he is something approximating 3/4 Chihuahua and 1/4 Mini-Pin.
For a creature with a brain roughly the size of a walnut, he drips with love and personality.
