I'd have to put it together later. 30 of the tunes have recorded examples, and there's 57 overall (I'm going to ask if it's okay to add a 58th I just found out about).

I will say that it has many of the same tunes as Tindall's book, but I did want to venture outside of the Stax thing, as well. Some we know, some more obscure.

I was really disappointed that nobody thought to transcribe that bassline! It swings so hard, and is a great lesson for a walking blues line, while still being undeniably Duck.

The hard part of that tune is, because of the tabs, it's like nine pages long...but there's so much stuff going on in there, I thought it would be a shame to cut it short at all.

I was hopelessly hoping that the standard notation would be separate; I get bummed out only getting 16 bars per page when working with a transcription that has tab...I realize it's way easier on the compilation side, but as a reader, it's a bummer. :sorry:

Right there with you. It's a requirement from the publisher, though. I do understand their position, though.

And this is a good reason to include the tab. Duck didn't read notation. And yes, it's in the book. :-)
