You can hear him solo'd out at 0:29 seconds, and a few other times.

Anyone know what kinda of effects, rig, amp, etc. he was using?

And I'm pretty sure his tone was bass>tube amp. Which one I dunno.

If this is from the same time frame, then it looks to be Fender Bassmans?.

its def a cranked tube amp. those probably look like bassmans, but im not an expert.

either way most people are gonna reccomend a VT bass to get that sound.
