What Ever Happened To Celinder Basses (Christian Celinder)?

I searched the threads but couldn't find any thread more current than 2009.

This guy was making, IMO, the best "jazz on steroids" on the market, then one day......... nothing. There was speculation and mystery surrounding what was going on with him and his website stopped.
Now, because there so limited, if you do find one for sale, it's going for crazy money.
Anyone know what happened to him?

I have played his basses before. Super awesome. The last time I saw one for sale was at Austin Bass Traders but that has been a while. Hope he is still building because he builds a great sounding and playing bass

Try Link Removed. I have a teal Celinder PJ-5 I picked up on TB about 18 months ago. Devastating B string. I've kind of gone back to playing 4 strings only though.

Saw that his site was back up again, but all of the pics are the same ones from years ago. I haven't seen any new Celinders in years

There's a similar thread (you may have already seen) on Celinder Basses - Basschat. Kind of implies that he was active for a while a year or two ago, but it's not clear if he still is.
