What head for mesa boogie diesel cabs?

That being the case, and going by what you said in your first post, I'd recommend getting the Mesa Boogie Buster.

Adjust your EQ to boost the low mids and cut below 60 Hz, then crank the volume to get as much tube saturation as you can and make sure you wear earplugs.
I have loved all of the videos I've seen of the buster. Currently I can't find any for sale

They didn't sell very many Busters. The idea of a high-power but clean tube head didn't catch on. I've been digging on mine for 25 years now. They occasionally pop up, but often they're the weird 2x10 monitor combo that's quite hard to move as it weighs like 200 lbs.

If you keep looking, one will show up. Might be a while, though.
