money wasn't a real issue and you wanted to go out and buy a new cabinet to go with your Fender Bassman 300.I play in a classic rock cover band so we get a little loud but nothing too bad.I'm going through a Ampeg 410HLF now which sounds great but I'm getting bored with it.I'm thinking Bag End or Mesa Boogie.

just personal preference. I played through an Ampeg and a Mesa Boogie at a friend's house(he collects amps), and preferred the sound from the MB.
As a proud owner of a Bag End 2x12" I say definitely check the Bag End stuff out. They were the first small bass cabs I ever liked (I was getting frustrated because nothing sounded like the big SVT 8x10"s and the old refrigerator 2x15" cabinets I was playing through).

+1 although I've never played or even seen one, they seem to be the defacto tube amp cab these days.
