What is the manliest bass amplifier?

That is the manliest bassist posing with the manliest bass and the manliest amp stack.

I understand that this is all in good fun, but why would we even feel the need to add gender to a bass amp? I dunno, it just seems weird to me - we're playing bass, not whipping it out and seeing who's is bigger... wait, now I get it...

:hiding:

Old Peavey gear comes to mind for me. Nothing fruffy or pretensious about it. Just big, heavy, loud, built like a tank workhorses that get the job done, and were built in Mississippi. 15 and 18 inch speakers, and amps that can be played at 16, 8, 4, or 2 ohms. I mean come on, what could be more "manly" than "black widow" and "scorpion" speakers?

Do you wear your bass really low, strategically covering your junk? ;)

Or is it at optimum height to play your best while avoiding carpal tunnel etc.?

Do you trust the ladies or guys will dig you anyway? :)

Does your amp's "attitude" substitute for some perceived lack elsewhere? :) ;)

Are you here to play music or attract adulation? Does the rest of the band share your vision? :):)
