What is the manliest bass amplifier?

So, people of Talkbass, what is the manliest bass amplifier? If head, must have matching cabinet. Points go for loudness, size, name, looks, number of watts and number of speakers. Two separate categories- standard and boutique. Here's my vote for standard [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] with this cab- [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] . For boutique, I present the Verellen Meatsmoke [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] .

Haha, had to look in on this thread. Must be iron and glass. Marshall Superbass with the 1960 cabs (although I'd put modern speakers in there) and the Ampeg SVT with 8x10.

if not. I'd say a Mesa bass 400 through an older road ready 2x15 cab is pretty manly without being fridge sized.

billy Sheehan used to use some sort if motor driven voice coil folded horn 18" sub that is pretty manly.

As a former Sunn owner, I couldn't agree more!

That said, I do not think that word means what you think it means.

And someone should tell Lemmy that mixing speaker sizes is not manly.
