What is this bass?

Hi all, the time has come to sort out what stays and what goes. I have found this 4 string fretted bass at the back of my spare room, yes I actually managed to get all the way to the back, it’s been a while. I can’t remember anything about this bass, where it came from why I bought it, nothing.
As you can see on its headstock it has G2 in a circle marked on it, there are no other clues on it at all. Can anyone identify what the bass is and who made it?

And here I thought I was the only one here disorganized enough to have been visited by the "forgotten bass found in a corner" fairy! No clue what it is, other than "G2". Roll with it.

So looks like the company Stagg had basses and guitars with that G2 logo on em, though I couldn't find one exactly like yours.

Stagg stuff is imported from Asia, but typically decent quality. Not particularly expensive though there are a variety of models at varying prices.

That’s brilliant, thanks. I don’t particularly mind the Stagg brand, hopefully when I have tidied this bass up there will be someone out there who doesn’t mind them either.
