What is this technique?

Hi, Just wondering what is the technique this guy uses for the intro of Keine Lust by Rammstein? Sounds pretty cool but when I try it you can hardly hear it through the amp.

I know that this is a beginner question but I was just wanting to make sure.

Its 2 hand tapping, and you have to do it fairly hard to get a full sound out of it. It really just takes awhile to learn the touch, keep practicing and you'll get it, or just look up 2 hand tapping tutorial on youtube, I'm sure there are probably at least a few good tutorials on it.
