What is this?

Got this on Craigslist this morning for $100. I bought for the SD Basslines & original BadAss bridge. Couldn’t go wrong for the price. This thing is heavy & ugly. Plays surprisingly nice though. I just can’t figure what the heck it is. Thinking it might just be a project someone put together. Any ideas bass players?

Yep. I’m going to put these pickups & bridge on a new project. Probably ditch the body...unless someone chimes in with “Hey That’s one of those ____basses worth $2k”

Just the lineup of the knobs and a couple of other things point me toward a butchered Hamer Cruise of some sort.

Could it be an Epiphone as Accubass that someone trimmed?

I like how they tilted the bridge to get more wood for the screws to bite into.... Ugh.

I actually liked the body shape. Totally impractical though.
