LOL it's got a thumb rest AND a tug bar. Looks really funny that way. Not to mention the funny pickguard.

Interesting - a bass from Transylvania. I was thinking some of the hardware (bridge cover, finger rests) looks exactly like Framus, perhaps there could have been a connection? And might "Reghin" be a sub-brand of the Hora factory in the town of Reghin? Some old Hora guitars on the web definitely have the same control knobs and slider switch arrangement:
