What is Tony Grey up to?

That name sounds familiar. This guy, perhaps?

I always find his Geordie accent with the little American inflections quite funny. His uncle, John McLaughlin speaks with a similar affectation in his accent, I had always wondered if he did that because he thought a Yorkshire accent was unbecoming in the world of jazz. I'm always reminded of how Sting, Robson Green and Jimmy Nail (three other famous geordies) took classes to try and hide their geordie accents. Funnily enough, it always tops the polls as the most popular accent in the UK.
