What is your Anti-GAS?

Why would you want to cure GAS?

Only cure for Bass GAS is Guitar GAS.
And guess what, Guitar GAS comes in Daphne blue too.

Two answers -

I have two Audiokinesis Changeling 1x12 cabinets. They are so vastly better than anything I've had before them (which is a lot) that I can't imagine replacing them. I have no interest in cabinet ads any more. I don't even look. I suppose if I were to shockingly land an arena gig I'd need more than two 1x12s in my rig. But in that situation I might order a couple more just like them.

Practice time. When I start jonesing for a new bass, I come to realize that usually it's not the bass I want, it's the experience of playing it. So then I go down and play the basses I have, which are all wonderful. Mostly, once I've been down there half an hour, I'm getting the same experience I had in my mind, or near enough. Even better if I can head to a gig.

My anti-gas is practicing a bunch. Than i realize how little the gear i have makes compared to how big of a difference my technique makes.

Stuff i just feel i dont need to replace: Darkglass Alpha-Omega. Played for like 15+ years before i had any bass pedal, got this a few years ago, dont really feel like anything else would do more or better.
That being said, i wouldnt mind one of those B7k with that squid graphic to use as a headphone amp and additional options for recording, but not sure it would ever make it to my rig or not.

I get you are making a joke, but your joke misses the point of the thread which is to talk about gear you like that you know could stand improvement. Beyond bass gear, I can think of all sorts of things I own that could be improved that I really enjoy owning and using. The topic is mainly relative to GAS in the sense that I know no one who GAS's for everything. We tend to only have GAS for certain things.

What Yamaha do you play? I have a fretless TRB 1005J and it is all the bass anybody could possibly need (although I have others :))

Another GK-related post: I have an MB115 that seems pretty permanent to me. It is too big for home, too small for any serious gig (which I don't do anyway), but it is what we use as a "pre" and monitor at church and for that reason alone, is perfect.

I'm ok with what I got, as a matter of fact, the only way I am changing anything is to buy it by selling something else...well except I am building my own version of a fEARFUL cabinet, back is getting a little old to be moving refrigerators.
