1987 MB 300D turbo. 6 cylinder, turbo-boosted DIESEL -- runs on other stuff, too. Cheap, comfortable and economical to run. I looked hard for a diesel wagon, but no luck. Bought this one after making sure my DB would fit inside, and it holds a complete gig setup in the trunk.
08 jeep liberty. It works well for hauling dog and/or bass and PA gear. And playing in the snow. Prior to that I had a 94(?) buick lesabre with about 270k on it...
I never get tired of driving or posting this car. I looked for the panel wagon version of the HHR, but could never find one that was a five speed. When I found this one, the test drive included bringing it home and squeezing all my gear in. It's not the most powerful thing I've ever driven, especially loaded down, but I love going through the gearbox on mountain roads!
