What is your favorite lightweight rig?

With all these small heads coming out what is your go to small amp head and small cab (2x10, 2x12, etc...)?

Maybe something you would have on stage with you at a church or something that you would be running in ears with but still have the presence of a stage amp?

GK MB200 with an SVT-210AV. If I'm bringing my second 210AVcab, I'll use a PF-350.

Believe it or not, I called this a very capable rig, and for a while...eq (if needed) & effects, and a good DI, sent to the house and my in-ears. This took maybe five minutes to set up and "tear down" (stored in a Gator case with a few other pedals, with cables stored in the band's big road cases). I say that this was capable, because I played everywhere from small clubs to large festival/fair stages with this, and the tone in my ears was as good as out front. Technology absolutely rules (imo)

I have a Markbass 2x10 combo that I now use for rehearsal that I really like. I have the Bergantino B|Amp and two 1-12 cabs. Easy to move...sounds GREAT.

I don't play any high-volume gigs, so my lightweight rig *is* my main rig: ToneHammer 500 and a TC Electronic RS210 cab. Only problem is the handle placement on the RS210, but it's not too bad.

Aguilar TH350 + Bergantino CN112 (two of them - using one or two as needed). Great sound, lightweight and easy to lug around.

see pic. Mesa D800 and 2 Epifany UL2 1x15 cabs. I can fit the head in my bass case, strapped to back. one cab in each hand. A one trip set-up for me.

SWR Baby Blue I combo (original version). Grab and go.
Or, if no A/C available, Stewart PA-100B solid state amp driven by a TAB V71 tube DI line out, into an SWR Baby Blue extension cab; power requirement for this combo is under 100 watts so I can use portable battery power.

My light weight go to rig (<100 people) would be a Markbass LMII and a EA Wizzy 10. For More than that it's a Wizzy 12.

Used to rock a GenzBenz shuttle 6.0 and a neo 1x12t cab. One-trip loadout ftw! Worked fine for rehearsal and small venues, for larger venues I added another 1x12 and we went through the PA.

Your budget will determine a lot. The less you spend, likely the more you will have to schlep.

Right now I am playing a GK or Carvin class D head. Revsound 2x12.

I take the subway most of the time, so if I have to bring an amp it's either my Markbass Minimark 2x6 combo which is perfect for smaller gigs. Or it's my Aguilar TH500 with an Aguilar SL112 for anything bigger. I have a 2nd SL112 but only really use it for tours and stuff.

I have a Darkglass Microtubes 900 and 2 Orange 2x12 iso's for small gigs
For tiny gigs I use an Ampeg Micro VR and 2x10

Right now it's the GB Shuttle 9.0 and I just use whatever bass cabinet is on the stage.

I've been elated with my Quilter BassBlock 800 & fEarful 12/6.
While it's not the lightest cab on the market, it sounds absolutely perfect!
