what is your favorite onstage act to do?

I staged dived once during a drum solo and when I came back on the stage I stuck my head into the bass drum... teenage stupidity!
Mine is the deep headbang. My guitard player calls it "The Mitch" being Mitch my name. All I do is hang my bass as low as I can and bend my body very low too and headbang slowly with the bass and my body moving with my head. Watch the beggining of the music video for "Our Truth" by Lacuna Coil for a video of another person doing it. It's were I got the idea.
i'm not sure it's my favorite, but i seem to do it alot...

Then at about 4:10 in that video, my other favorite thing is to send a mic stand or other equipment flying across stage when I inadvertantly hit it with the head of my bass. (no basses were harmed in the making of this video).
so i guess my real favorite thing is just being slightly out of control.

I didn't actually see you hit it because the camera was focused on the singer, but I did see a roadie(?) pick it up.
Thanks, I gave up trying to copy Flea's bassline on that song and just tried to catch the feel of it.
That's our male lead singer - picking up that mic stand was the most work he's done in 6 months. I think he hurt his back doing it.
i act as if i've seen something of incredible interest on the end of the room opposite the stage so that people turn around to see what im looking at.
My favorite act thing to do during a show would be "amp trashing." Allow me to elaborate...
I'm an audio/video engineer that not only pulls old, broken, or barely-working power amps out of church/industrial audio systems, but I'm the one who repairs them. If I believe that the amp will cost my company more time in my labor than the price of a new amp, then the amp gets thrown away. With the owner's permission, I take many of the barely-working amps home. One of my stipulations is that it is a solid state amp; I don't think the audience wants to get a face-full of glass.
I have two stage rigs. One is my Ampeg SVT-2 Pro/610HLF rig and the other is my Mesa/Boogie Bass 400+/Powerhouse 8x10 rig. For the last song of the night, I sometimes (and quickly) disconnect whatever head I'm using and hook up a "on-its-last-limb" throw-away amp to the cab. I make sure that I've got my BDDI as a preamp for this. At the end of the song...you guessed it...that amp gets thrown around stage like a rag doll. It's fun and, so far, no one's gotten hurt.

I did my first drum-riser jump a few shows back. I don't really know how cool it looked. It felt dumb.
My saying is " If you feel dumb doing it, the crowd likes it, and if you like the move, the crowd hates it."

Seriously I like to stare at people and make them feel weird. And when I play something on my B string I always seem to put my tounge on my top lip. Don't know why, but I do.

I like to scream at the top of my lungs, whether theres a mic in front of me or not. I just like to be REAL intense. Or ********. It helps that I do it only for my own personal enjoyment.
