What is Your Oldest Pedal?

I saw a couple of threads and saw a few people state that "it is the oldest pedal I have, its not going anywhere"..... Or "Ive kept it on my board since the beginning". So I guess I could ask first, whats the oldest pedal that you own, that youve had the longest? And two, whats the pedal that has made it through all the switches and change outs on your board. all the revamps and why?

I guess I can answer both those questions with one pedal, my DOD DFX9 Digital Delay. Love that pedal. Ive kept it since a friend gave it to me about 13 years ago. It was in a drawer for a while but I remember when I found I was so happy. I have been using ever since I found it again. Such a great delay.

Another one would be the Boss ODB3. I think that was one of the first pedals I bought when I first started playing. I actually used it quite a bit the last couple of years. Just this weekend I took it off the board. I will probably have that one for a long time as well.

Oldest pedal, I have an old Boss Guitar Overdrive pedal (yellow) that I got in the early 90s. It's still at my parents' house :)

The, non tuner, pedal that has been on my board the longest is my Grey Stache. I had it built with all the options I wanted, it ended up being what I wanted.

Another one bites the dust...

Now, if you were to ask me what is the pedal that you kept for the shortest amount of time, I would have a lot of answers there. :)

For better or worse, everything I have I bought only 2-3 few years ago or less. Some of it is probably much older than that, but I am not the first owner. From 1996/1997 when I started playing bass through about 2011/2012, my entire pedal buying history was as such: Boss ODB-3, Digitech BP-8, Boss GT-6B. All of those are gone now. Then I got a Boss GT-10B in 2011 or 2012 (I can't remember), and while researching that was when I sort of got hooked into buying more and more individual effects and really crafting "my" sound (I also started playing a lot more guitar around then, so I had the same problem with guitar).

I still have the GT-10B although I rarely use it; it's probably my oldest at this point. My next oldest is maybe my Eventide Pitchfactor? Or my Empress Multidrive? I am also discounting my effects that are really guitar-only. My Morpheus Droptune might be the pedal that I've owned the longest.

HAZ MuTron III+ purchased in 1996. It *would be* going somewhere if someone wants to buy it, I don't use it anymore. That's the oldest "to me" as in the first pedal I owned. My oldest pedal is an original Musitronics MuTron III, date of origin unknown but it's old, probably from the 70's.

My first pedal was a russian bassballs, but i haven't used it in ages and i'm not sure wherz it is... the one that has most years on it is my odb3. It's about 2 months younger than the bassballs. A girlfriend from way back got it for me for my birthday (10+ years ago) and it's been on the board eversince. It's not the best sounding overdrive, but it will last more than a lifetime! which probably goes for all the boss pedals, and is why i'm guessing there will be alot of them in this thread...

DOD FX62 Bass Stereo Chorus. A present from my brother in 1987. That's 27 years! :p
It was one of the first dedicated 'bass' effect pedals (the first Boss bass pedal was that year too - the BF-2B Bass Flanger).

By chance I tried it last week, the leds gone and the switch is sticky, but it still works and sounds great (in a full cheese ahead chorusy kinda way).
I reckon it might have to go on my new board, just so I can say "yes, you might have more fancy bass pedals than me, but I've got the first one!"

The one that I've had the longest is a DOD Supra-Distortion. It sits in a box, haven't used it for years but it's worth next to nothing so I haven't bothered trying to sell it.

My oldest pedal is the EHX Bad Stone with the Mummy Face - I think it's from around 1971, I've only had it for a few months - bought it is a disassembled heap and brought it back to life.

The oldest pedal I have is a A/DA flanger I got in about 1985. I used it for a few years and then replaced it with an Ibanez bi-mode chorus. The oldest pedal that's still on my pedal board is a OC-2 that I got in about 1988. I've considered selling the A/DA and the Ibanez since the vintage pedal market is going crazy. But I'll probably just keep'em.
