What kind of ears are you using?

I've seen you sing the praises of the in-ears you're using for the NIN gig, and I was wondering what they are. I've had to use ears for two of the larger gigs I have, and I think they suck my ass in a really not sexy way. I've tried Shure E5's and Ultimate Ears as well, and just don't dig them.

Hard to believe it's the exact same Westone that made cheap guitars in the 80's. All of a sudden they're kings of IEM's. Good for them...I actually liked their cheap guitars.

they are awesome - the in ears and the guitars. But I don't think it's the same compnay.
The westone guitars were made in japan by a company that started out making sewing machines. The westone that makes in ears is a US company has pretty much alway been manufactiring ear molds/hearing protection. They are high end and cost more than some others, but they're really worth it (the in ears, I mean)
