What kind of strings do you use?

Harley benton 45-105 nickel, roundwound.
They are cheap so I can afford to change them often.

Only thing I don't like in these is the orange cloth in the ends. Sometimes I use a red or a black marker to make them look cooler :roflmao:

In my 35 inch ltd bass the cloth touches the nut if i don't peel it off. (I's easy to do with a sharp blade)

I think it depends on what style of music you play. If you are a rocker you might go with a Nickel or Flat wound string. If you are a R n B, Jazz, or Gospel dude then Round wounds are a must. And remember you pay for what you get !! IMO DRs all day for me BUT I like D'addario also it just depends on what style of music I am gigging with and which bass I'm going to use, 4 5 or 6 string and the scale length of the bass also matters as well and hex core and round core to give the sound I need. If you are a serious bass player all these things matter, well for me it does LOL !!
