What kinda effects is this guy using?

The song is "Dragonaut" by Sleep. I can hear there is definitely some fuzz in there, but especially towards the end, it sounds like he's working some other kinda effect in there too. Anybody know what kind of effect he's using? Sounds kinda like an envelope filter to my untrained ear...

"He" is Al Cisneros...fuzz and I think in other threads we came to the conclusion it was a wah pedal. Could be an autowah but it doesn't have the same wah'ing characteristics on each note like an autowah would produce. There's never been much conclusive evidence either way and afaik, Al doesn't kiss and tell.

he uses a wah and plays very very loud.

i know he uses a dod250 type overdrive in om though

There have been a couple of different takes on it--some people swear its a wah, others say its an envelope filter.

I know Tayste said he used a Mu-Tron III in a thread a while back, but that's about as specific as any of us have been willing/able to get.
