My first thought was “the ugly kind.” But the more I look at it, the more I kinda like it. Not $1100 like it (perhaps with one fewer zeros), but nonetheless...

I wonder how much of that bass is Fender... maybe just the neck plate?

I kind of dig it. Looks pretty well done, but not for $1,100. My guess is the neck is a Squier, and for a lot of sellers on CL, eBay, etc, that's a Fender...

That thing has nothing to do with Fender or Squire except that is sorta resembles a jazz bass that was left in the oven too long.
