What make are Dingwall strings?

Got a Dingwall ABZ a few weeks ago (new) and love the strings. Thinking of changing the strings on one of my regular fret basses to whatever these are. I've read that the Combustion comes with Dingwall branded Bass Boomers - is this likely to be the same on the ABZ?

Oh man that's a shame. Swapping between the Dingwall and a Sadowsky Metro with Sunbeams, the Sadowsky doesn't seem to have any zing...

Any recommendations for the Sadowsky?

Sunbeams are nickel plate. They are supposed to be mellow. If you want "zing" go with DR Hi-beams. If you don't mind a little stiffer feel, you might try Sadowsky Blue stainless steel strings.

Might try those then. I've got the black ABZ with the Tonestyler circuit which ended up in Warwick, UK.
Completely off topic, but I much prefered the tone of it compared to a regular tone knob - this one just seems really open and more alive. I believe there's a video on YouTube of Barry talking about the ABZ/playing my bass.
