What makes a Sadowsky better than a Music Man or a Modulus?

It seems Roger Sadowsky has a beautiful obsession with setup and fretwork, to say the least. Good stuff!

There are plenty of subjective variables in which "better" doesn't exist. However fretwork is just one in which a Sadowsky is measurably better than Music Man, Modulus, and most other basses regardless of price range.

I've owned both Music Man and Modulus: nice basses, nothing against them at all. Just giving credit where due.

But when looking at a bass as a whole -- tone, playability, appearance, price, quality, features, options, etc -- there is no better, just personal preference.
