What makes the '08 + Fender AM STD Better than Previous Ones?

I think the case is fantastic! Wow, im shocked there are reports of them breaking. They are SO chunky! They arent even THAT heavy for a hardcase which is fantastic.

Im a bit wary about ordering a Jazz. I have an 09 P, and I want a Jazz, but I dont want build issues.

I had a Jazz that had lines in the white finish if you held it to the light. It never went out of tune though...ever!

I think with mine it's mostly because the latches are HUGE and stick out like crazy. If they were recessed at all then it might help, but when they stick out that much, and are being shoved into crammed vans with tons of other gear, they get damaged easily. BUT like I said, the most recent of the 3 cases that I've had has lasted pretty well.
