What model Squier is this...

I just found this on the local craigslist. At first I thought that it might be a Protone model, but the pickups are not right. Is this an original color? Is it a decent deal for the price? Any information appreciated.

.. it is a Squier P Bass Special V from the Standard Series ... probably from around '01, and Sherwood Green is a factory color from that time frame ... body wood is likely agathis ... as far as value, figure the hardshell case is probably $50 +/-, might actually be a Squire case, kind of looks like it, cant tell if it is a pebble finish .. so is the bass worth $200? ... they key word here is 'local' ... only you can decide if it is worth it to you, but $200 is pretty strong for the bass for my taste ($135-140? +case value), but if it moves you, it is not a color you will find everyday ... new cost would have been in $239 range in 2000/1 ... looks to be stock FWIW ...

Had the Shoreline Gold Anniversary version of this bass once, very bright tone with roundwounds. Check for fret sprout, mine needed attention.

It's a P-bass, but it's loaded with a pair of 4 string Jazz pickups which make it more difficult to upgrade. This should also keep the cost down, I think the seller is asking a bit much.
