Bleached Swamp Ash. There is no cheap Ibenez, they are all good. The less expensive models do not always relate to poorer sound or playability features. A typical $2500. Ibenez may not sound much better than what you have shown us. I like it. The next most important feature is your sound box??? What are you running??? Bass Whaler

Sound box? That's a solid body electric, it doesn't have a sound box.
I'd disagree with the notion that there are no bad Ibanezes. I've played some really horrible low end ones.

A) not mine, it's from my old band, used for promotion
B) recorded with IIRC custom handmade bass from local luthier.
