What? No more GHS Bassics?? WTH!

I don't do nickel but I'm still glad they came to Thier senses with those. We need the variety. I'd really like to see GHS put out another stainless steel round wound too. I know it would eat into the super steel sales but something like a stainless steel round core boomer would probably be a hit with guys like me that like DR Fat Beams and the like.

My retailer doesn't carry GHS Bassics (only Boomers and Precision Flats) so I had to special order them. I am looking forward to giving them a try!
I'm based in Winnipeg so the selection for bass strings is rather limited locally.

I ordered 6 sets of the Bassics 40-102 from Fret Nation (based in California) earlier this year, and Jason there was very helpful in putting together a package deal. Even after the USD -CAD exchange and the shipping cost, it turned out to be cheaper than ordering them thru Long & McQuade.
