What order? Wah, Overdrive, Compression

I'm running a MM Stingray to a markBass2 and 4x12 MB cabinet. I have never liked effects, but I recently started using compression from a Boss GT10-B, and wow... it's making all the difference in the world. Fills in all the holes.

I want to try adding some dirt with my Boss OD pedal, and also try the crybaby bass wah. I've had them and haven't used them all that much.

What order should I put them in? Thanks!

I'd do it like that:
Bass - Compressor - CryBaby - Distortion

But you should try it out. Some things do not make sense and others do. Maybe the CryBabe produces unpredictable volume and then it makes sense to put the compressor in the chain after it. But maybe the compressor "destroys" that effekt of the CryBaby. There are always several possibilities. Try them out and decid what sounds best. That's the only thing that counts.

Try the wah and dirt both ways, there is a big difference in sound. Comp I like last to quell things that need quelling.

I like comp first. It's all a matter of personal preference.

I'd do dirt -> wah -> compression, but just play with it and see what you like best

No specific rules for order, only what sounds best and generates less noise. What works best for me is

(tuner) > wah (or filter) > comp > dirt
