Double Bass What Other Forums Do We Participate In?

There are a couple of us TalkBassers who are also on the Vanagon List. Similar to TB, its populated by enthusiastic, knowledgeable folks you'd like to have a beer with. Pretty talky site.

All much slower (thank god!) and less time consuming than the first two.

Thanks to all who have replied, showing their interesting outside lives to us. I thought since I started this thread, I'd open it up a little more and maybe add non-forum sites that we regularly check in on. Like probably the rest of you, I do a ton of looking and listening on youtube. I'm a movie geek so, the Internet Movie Data Base(IMDB.com) gets a lot of time, also a forum there. For checking in with the home theater crowd, Club Polk is good. Also, for classifieds I visit bassgear and craigslist almost daily, ebay occasionally. Invalid Link Removed is a global Craigslist search engine. Lotta good stuff here in Nashville to check out though. For reviews on equipment and the like, I like Harmony Central and Amazon. When I get on a tear for used books,Invalid Link Removed is a great book search place. Invalid Link Removed is handy for quick metric conversions. I could go on, but will stop there.

Allegiance (Invalid Link Removed) - probably the best video game I've played in my entire life. I've played lots of them but nothing has the dynamism and power of teamwork as this has. No two games are ever the same. And it's free to boot!

Ever since I started going woodworking, I started to lurk at sawmillcreek.org and the forum at Japantools.com.

I spend a lot of time at saxontheweb.com too. Bassists aren`t even close to the saxi when it comes to gear, as Mr. Sherry said. We all have at least five horns and a few mouthpieces for each, to start. Right now I`m kind of looking for a nice Buescher soprano from the late 20s, for those days when my Conn soprano from the late 20s just won`t do.

Also active on quite a few motorcycle forums: yamahafz1oa.com , vision-riders.com, thevmc.com, Invalid Link Removed
