What pickups are these?

Hi all!

I have a MiM Fender Jazz I’ve had for a couple of years. I haven’t upgraded it at all yet, but when I went to look at the pickups I noticed I don’t recognize these at all. Does anyone know what pickups these are?

I’m new to TB so don’t know how to do inline pix yet. Please see the attached pic. Don’t worry, it’s just a pic of a pickup.

Thanks. I initially thought of Nordstrands as well, but when I look closely, it doesn't look like the word "Nordstrand". The last two letters look like "ss", at least to my eyes? I checked pix of Nordstrand pups and didn't see any with this type of label. It's possible I'm missing something obvious here.

Some say Fender on the left side and some don’t. No expert but seen them both ways. Quite a few models of Jazz have come with noiseless pickups.

This is for sure it. Thanks, man! Gives me a great place to start since now I’m on the hunt for some Nordstrand pups.

At this point you could almost call them "vintage Fender noiseless" lol

With the "Noiseless" in gold print rather than silver, I think it may be the Player Plus pickups. They have ceramic magnets. The ones @Killing Floor shows I think are Alnico.

Yeah. I just snatched a pic to show the font and that it’s “Noiseless” from Fender. They have several sets over the years. Just validating they appear OEM, not modified.

beat me to it. They are potted and were OE in MIM Deluxe J basses. Not bad but not that hot. If you are OK with some well behaved, mild sounding pickups they are fine. If you want humbuckers with some nuts, I prefer DiMarzio Model J sets for god of thunder output and Ultra J sets for everything else. They also offer an Area J set which (to me) sound like hot wound single coils even though they are humbuckers like the other two. I've tried them all with the recommended 500K pots and found I liked the stock 250K pots better for all three sets.
If I could only have one of the three, I'd take the Ultra J set.
