What Round Wound Gauge Do You Use?

I dont really care.
I grab standard packs off the shelf .
I have occasionally not liked the initial tension of cetian strings when changing brands, but playing for a few hours I get used to them.
I play 4 bangers and as long as the strings are in the ball park of the right size and don't have crazy tension I'm ok.
I know different sized strings can sound different, but, if I go down that rabbit hole, it will never stop.
It's safer (and a whole lot less expensive) for me to just use common sets as I can get crazy ocd about even the tiniest changes in sound, which will lead to me trying every string combination from every manufacturer. $$$ gone for little return.

If I had to pick a “standard” set it wouldn’t be on your list. I started with 45-65-85-105 almost 40 years ago but soon started using an 80 A. For many years I stuck with 45-65-80-105 but now I find I prefer 45-60-80-105 or the similar gauges of the D’Addario XL Balanced Tension set. That said, I have basses that just seem to play better with something else so that’s what I use on them. Why fight it? Some instruments just like what they like.
These days, 45-125 Dadds for half step detuned. Trying out a set of Infeld Super Alloy, same deal. Std pitch with those sets makes my rt hand hurt the next day. The DR/Fodera nickels 45-125 are good for std pitch, they're a little stiffer than the other(too limber)round core DRs. I might try 40-120 Dadds for standard, maybe less stiff enough.
AKA TI Jazz Rounds, my favourite roundwounds. They are a great match with my Jazz Bass.
40-100 if I'm in standard tuning.
45-105 if I go play some gigs with a band that's detuend 1/2 step.

Really liking the 50-110 Magma SS, SIT Powersteel 50-110 and Ken Smith 50-110 Metal Masters on my Bongo and SR Special.

I like GHS round core bass boomers in 50-115, their "heavy" set; I currently have them on a fender precision and jazz. IMHO they feel great in the hands, and retain their tension when tuning down.
