What should I be using with my markbass 2x10 combo?

Hello all. I have a markbass 2x10 combo amp and I was just wondering if I should be using anything else with it for a more complete sound. Like compression. I am playing a small venue in a month and just wondered everyone's opinion. Thanks alot.
Oh and if you have any recommendations please list products that you recommend. Such as brand name. Thanks again.

ehmm... what are you missing? Do you like your sound? i don't own a MB 102 combo but I use a 121p combo. Very nice amps, wouldn't say it "needs" anything.
I have a 121P I use for practice, and gigged with for over a year.. used to run it into an Avatar 2x10 neo cab, and stacked the 121 on top.

The 2x10 combo should be plenty loud for most bar/club size gigs..

I picked up the CMD 102P, it works great for smaller venues and I go through the PA. I have an American P Bass, nothing else. It is amazing as is. Just the bass and amp. I can't believe how light it is, the additional cab is extremely light as well.

I did pickup a Traveler 102P (8 ohm) for larger places.

I would mess with the settings.
