What should I get to make my Hubby be wireless?

A note of thanks to my TB brethren.

My wife showed me this thread which I thought was very cool on her part. In any event, thanks for pointing her in the right direction. I've been playing with my G30 all day today and really digging it. A great Father's Day gift.

Now get to mowing the lawn, you have no excuse sitting around now you got a wireless kit!

Just kidding, its a thoughtful gift from a wife that shares in her husband's interests. Congratulations for both.

Let me throw out one warning here - if you go with Line 6, stick with the "G" series. The "X" series that preceded it had some problems toward the end of the run. You can sometimes find the X2 really cheap nowadays (under $200) but try not to be tempted. I had one fail on its second gig - not cool at all.

That sucks dude. I own and currently still use a X2 (pre Line 6). No less than 350 shows played and zero issues. Even spilled a pint of Pale Ale on the receiver once....maybe you just got a bad one....
