What size fret wrap for an Ibanez sr

Fret wrap?
Not to be picky, but fixing the spelling on your title might have more people responding.
Never fully understood the appeal of using these things. Seems like all they do is choke the personality out of your instrument, but I guess “to each their own.”
Also, purely based on your contributions here, I’m seriously beginning to think that your TB account is a straight up troll account.
Why? I've have never posted anything that wasnt done in good faith. I've been attacked quite a bit but my questions are genuine and the advice I give is sound. Can you point me in the direction of a specific post?

They come in specific sizes. If your bass is a 4 string, buy the one for a 4 string. If it is a 5, buy the one for a 5. For a 6, buy one for a 6. Unlike others here, I use one on my 6 to tame the sustain from the graphite neck.
You have to hand it to Gruv Gear.
The Gig Blade isn't a big seller even though it's one of the best gig bags around, the Fump only works on 1 in 20 basses, but they've sold over 5 million of these things so far...and they come in so many cool colors!
I mean, who could pass on the zebra striped or leopard print ones?
Plenty of satisfied customers, too.
I have one, but I get tired of switching it to this or that bass, so I'm just buying enough for all of my basses...which means a baker's dozen!

J’utilise avec mes bases 4, 5 et 6 cordes, mais aussi avec ma fretless et ma guitare électrique! Pour enregistrer, c’est tellement parfait losrque tu as besoin d’un son précis!

"Large" is the right size for a BTB Sixer. That's the best I can offer, it's my first fret wrap.
I have one for my Ibanez six string. It's only used when I try two-handed tapping, which benefits from having a muting element on the fretboard. Otherwise it lives above the nut.
I think I have the large size (not the XL). I'd go a size down for my four-string if I found it necessary for that bass (I don't).
I tried scrunchies and other options (even wrapped a clean sock around the fretboard). All garbage. (The sock worked better than the scrunchies.) For $10, I'm happy with my fret wrap.

I like the Fret Wrap, been using it for years. It really helps when I play a whole night of slap bass. I gave one to a friend who plays really intricate guitar tapping stuff, ala Stanley Jordan and Michael Hedges, and he's been using it since. I play 4 string and the small fits correctly.
The OP might use it to dampen open strings while tapping.

A FretWrap is for when you are doing fancy things like two-handed tap and you don't have another hand to do the muting. Go and play "U Can't Hold No Groove" with one and then without - there is most definitely a need for something like a FretWrap.
As somebody who went through a stack of feminine hair products before their first FretWrap, don't waste your time. Just spend the few extra dollars and get a FretWrap - they work FAR better than any scrunchie I have ever used. The new ones are also much better than the original model.
As far as the OP goes, you want a small for a four string bass.
Seemed like an honest question to me. I never heard of these things til a few weeks ago.
They make some quality products. Most are somewhat expensive, but done well. I use the FretWraps and I absolutely love my Erskine signature DuoStrap. Super high quality and makes my 6 string feel like a light 4 string.
It took me years to buy the Gig Blade but I use it all the time.
Always fun wearing it on my shoulder and having people asking me questions about it.
